FIELD: refrigeration engineering. SUBSTANCE: cycle has two isochoric and two adiabatic processes occurring in two double-action cylinders whose piston groups are shifted through 180 deg. Each moment of time two processes go on simultaneously: either adiabatic (compression in compressor and expansion in expander) or isochoric (transfer of cold working medium from expander to compressor and compressed working medium from compressor to expander). This affords simultaneous movement of working medium while free volume and pressure drop are brought to minimum. EFFECT: improved relative cold generation capacity of cycle. 2 dwg
