SUBSTANCE: rock section is made, minerals containing inclusions of liquid hydrocarbons are analyzed, temperature at which index of refraction of mineral and that of inclusions coincide is determined, result obtained is compared with experimentally found dependence between index of refraction and quality of hydrocarbons, quality of hydrocarbons contained in inclusion is determined.
