FIELD: methods of recognition of banknotes. SUBSTANCE: magnetic field acts on image by means of magnetic head which image is printed by corresponding paint. Magnetized elements of image are recognized which image is printed by this paint by means of reading head. Permanent current passes through winding of magnetic head. Value of current is selected in such a manner to provide saturated magnetization of image elements printed by paint with magnetic ink. EFFECT: improved s/n ratio at output of of playback magnetic head.
