FIELD: poultry farming. SUBSTANCE: domestic incubator has heat-insulated casing provided with adjustable vent openings in casing bottom and above tray. Casing is defined by interconnected transverse and longitudinal walls, bottom and cover. Egg turnover, heating and moistening systems are positioned below tray that is positioned in spaced relation with respect to transverse walls. Incubator has power source. Casing cover is made from material possessing higher heat-conductivity compared with bottom and wall material. Adjustable openings made in longitudinal walls are positioned above tray. Heating system has heater formed of coiled bonding wire. Spaced coils of bonding wire are arranged on frame-type carcass. Heater has variable resistor connected in series with it and thermistor connected in parallel with it. Resistor and thermistor are positioned outside casing and switched to low-voltage power source. Egg turnover system has net-type movable tray pan mounted on frame-type carcass, immovable transverse egg stops, pan pushers mounted in openings made in casing transverse walls and pan motion restrictors. Moistening system has water cell positioned below casing bottom, evaporator with member for sucking water from cell by capillary effect. Evaporator is mounted on auxiliary heater positioned below main heater. EFFECT: increased hatching efficiency, reduced power consumption and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 cl, 3 dwg
