SUBSTANCE: blancher has horizontal casing divided into sections by walls with transfer chutes, drive shaft mounted in casing and provided with carriers for spring-biased perforated ladles pivotally mounted for engagement of their side walls with feeler member positioned in casing above chute. Blancher is further provided with helical blades and blanching liquid heating members disposed between ladles and dividing walls and fixed on carriers.
