FIELD: metallurgy, mining, chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: separator has cylindrical inlet chamber with inlet channel, outlet chamber with outlet channel for purified liquid medium, with chamber being disposed under inlet chamber, and accumulator of heavy fraction. Nozzle is mounted between inlet and outlet chambers. Its input part is disposed inside inlet and outlet chambers. Its input part is disposed inside inlet chamber and protrudes above foundation. Accumulator of heavy fraction is placed under outlet chamber and is equipped with pipe for extraction of thickened liquid medium. The pipe is mounted opposite the nozzle coaxial to it. Separator is equipped with guide member in the form of upset glass concentrically surrounding the nozzle and mounted in inlet chamber. The face gap is formed between glass bottom and upper cut of nozzle. Ring-shaped radial gap is formed between internal cylindrical surface of glass and lateral surface of nozzle. Lower part of glass adjoins the foundation of inlet chamber forming radial passage into mentioned ring-shaped radial gap out of cavity between internal wall of inlet chamber and external lateral surface of glass. Such design allows to completely utilize properties of the jet itself due to introduction of guide member. EFFECT: enhanced cleaning of oil from mechanical impurities in hydraulic drives, reduced energy losses during cleaning, enhanced degree of separation. 5 cl, 1 dwg
