FIELD: physical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for low-temperature processing of a multicomponent medium. The device for separation of a multicomponent medium contains a housing with a profiled flow feed channel made in it with confusor, diffuser sections and a critical section, a device for twisting the medium flow, a droplet and/or solid particle sampling unit, a hollow cone installed in the output part of the diffuser section of the channel to form an annular cavity, and the said cavity is connected to the cavity of the node for selection of droplets and/or solid particles. The device contains at least two profiled flow channels, the geometric dimensions of the flow parts of which are made based on the condition of ensuring the required parameters of the flow creep of a multicomponent medium. The profiled channels are placed, preferably, parallel and, preferably, around the common axis of rotation, based on the condition of the location of the input parts in the same plane. At the entrance to the separation device, a rotatable disk with channels for directing the flow is installed and an inlet collector with a supply pipe is fixed at the entrance to the device. At the outlet of the device, a discharge collector with a condensate discharge pipe and discharge pipes of the purified stream are fixed. The diffuser section is made with a transition from a smaller corner angle to a larger one, and the hollow cone is placed in the part with a large corner angle of the diffuser section. Inside the mentioned hollow cone, a confusor-diffusor transition is made.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of regulating the performance of the separator in a wide range when changing the initial operating parameters of a multicomponent medium.
