FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mounting bars of safety trap are placed horizontally one above another, separating members with similar gaps are disposed in inclined planes and are attached by some ends to mounting bars, other ends are linked with safety trap housing. In this case points of attaching separating members to mounting bars are higher as far as flow is concerned than points of attaching members to safety trap housing. Liquid trap is made as ring-shaped chute along lower part of housing wall of safety trap. Separating members disposed in different planes can be oriented in horizontal projection to each other at angle up to 10 deg. in order to increase catching capability.
