FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for purification of associated petroleum or natural gas from droplet liquid in small-sized block installations for well exploration, as well as for preparation when it is used as fuel for electric generator gas turbine or diesel installations, as well as for boiler houses. The separator has a container with fittings for the input of a gas-liquid mixture, the output of purified gas and separated liquid, including internal elements: an inlet fender switchgear mounted at the inlet fitting, intermediate and outlet drop catchers, as well as a drain tray. The output drop catcher is made in the form of a mesh multilayer fender having the shape of a cone with an angle of inclination of 30-40. Each layer of the drop catcher is a nozzle made of a mesh knitted sleeve laid in a spiral, bounded from below and above by a frame made of a metal rod. At the same time, there are gaps between the layers, the height of which is no less than 0.7 of the thickness of the nozzle layer, assumed to be equal to the width of the mesh knitted sleeve, and the length of the forming cone, depending on the load, is from 1.5 to 4.0 of the thickness of the nozzle layer.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of separation and an expansion of the range of work.
