FIELD: metallographic printing. SUBSTANCE: cleaning cylinder is positioned in eccentric bushings and, with the aid of hydraulic cylinders, due to which the eccentric bushings can rotate, it can coarsely move between its working position, in which it fits to the form cylinder, and neutral position shifted from it. With the aid of fine adjustment it is possible to compensate for the change of the distance between the axes of the form cylinder and cleaning cylinder caused by a deflection of the form cylinder, which arises when the printing pressure of the impression cylinder is switched on. Each hydraulic cylinder is hinge-joined to a worm wheel, which can rotate with the aid of the worm spindle. For fine adjustment of the worm spindle use is made of a stepping motor, which simultaneously with engagement and disengagement of the impression cylinder in each case moves through a preset value in this or that direction.
