FIELD: X-ray engineering. SUBSTANCE: three-phase X-ray generator that has digital set of external characteristics specified by set 4 of synchronously commutated resistors in phases A,B,C of primary winding 2 of three-phase high-voltage transformer 1 is provided with regulating shunt formed by three-phase winding 8 on secondary side of transformer 1, rectifier 9, and variable resistor 10 with final element 11 inserted at output of comparison circuit 13 of high-voltage regulation system; three-phase measurement winding 14 and three-phase rectifier 15 are used as means for shaping signal proportional to high voltage across X-ray source. EFFECT: improved speed of regulation, provision for implementing free-setting conditions. 2 cl, 3 dwg
