FIELD: product of monocrystalline synthetic diamonds. SUBSTANCE: solvent containing cobalt, chrome and carbon has additionally iron at the following ratio of components, wt.-%: chrome 4-18; carbon 0.2-2.0; cobalt 45-90, and iron 5-45. Additionally, solvent may contain at least on of dilutant taken from the order: copper, zinc, aluminium, tin, nickel at amount 5-50 wt. -%. Solvent is used for diamond synthesis under high pressure and temperature. EFFECT: increased rate growth of diamonds, controlled process, preparing large thermostable isometric monocrystalline diamonds at low thermodynamic parameters. 2 cl, 2 tbl
