FIELD: petroleum chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method for continuous hydrosulfurization of liquid sulfur-containing hydrocarbon material includes formation of a series of hydrosulfurization zones. Each zone has compacted layer of solid sulfidized catalyst of hydrodesulfurization. Liquid sulfur-containing hydrocarbon material and hydrogen-containing gas is fed to the first zone and transferred through all zones and come in contact under conditions of hydrodesulfurization. Fed to the first zone or to any other zone is hydrogen-containing gas brought out of the subsequent zone. Content of sulfur in raw material and in hydrogen-containing gas is regulated. If required, sulfur-containing substance is fed to the first zone to maintain the catalyst load in sulfidized form. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 16 cl, 4 dwg
