FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: product-catalyst (Ct) is copper, that is uniformly distributed on amorphous chrome having carrier surface with copper particles size - from 30·10-1 to 300·10-10m, average particle size of 50·10-10m and area of surface of 18.36 - 18.61 m2/g, that is determined by resolution of nitrogen oxide under 80 c. In the case atomic ratio of copper and chrome 1.2 - 2.5 : 1. Ct auxiliary has 10 mas % of barium oxide. Ct is produced by reduction of copper chromite composition during addition of hydrogen into nitrogen stream under temperature of environment with following increase of temperature of reduction and concentration of hydrogen with gass composition control at outlet so, that gasses compositions at inlet and outlet will be identical. Reduction process is carried out till full substitute of nitrogen for hydrogen, keeping reduction temperature in interval of 140 - 180 C. In the case general pressure of gas is 4.45 bar with partial hydrogen pressure of 0.009 - 0.023 bar. Reduction temperature is being increased with controlled speed of 10 C/h, as compared with temperature of environment, up to 120 C and hydrogen concentration in gas stream of 0.2 - 0.5 vol. %. Temperature increase of 120 - 170 C is exercised according to linear rule at speed of 3 - 10 C/h at volumetric speed of 3000 - 6000 h-1, calculated for 0 C and pressure of 1 bar.
