MECHANIZED JOINING TIMBERING Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: fixing working at joining spotes and adjoining working. SUBSTANCE: mechanized joining timbering includes inner and outer sections interrelated with motion jack. The sections include lengthwise beams, hydraulic uprights, bases, mechanism to correct lateral displacement, platform for installing spote conveyor drive, cantilevers, guide levers, pull rods and grabs. Lengthwise beam of outer section has guide sides from the top and is installed on base of outer section using hydraulic uprights. Lengthwise beam of inner section is placed between guide sides of outer section. The inner section is installed on front and back hydraulic uprights provided with individual supports. Lengthwise beam of inner section is related through motion jack to lengthwise beam of outer section. Support of front hydraulic upright of inner section is related through additional motion jack to outer section base. Crosswise cantilever is rigidly connected to bottom of lengthwise beam of outer section. Mechanism to correct lateral displacement of beams is installed on the crosswise cantilever to interact with lengthwise beam of inner section. Additional hydraulic cylinders of correction and retaining beams from being displaced in lateral direction are hinged on guide sides of outer section. Spote conveyor drive is installed on the platform for installing and adjusting position of spote conveyor drive. The platform taken out of the timbering and secured to the base.
