FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves selecting perennial kinds of red clover by evaluating germination extent of first and second ternate leaves of 10-15 day sprouts on the base of five-point scale, with five points being set for fully germinated leaves. Sorts of plants having maximum percentage of weak germinated ternate leaves are selected as perennial kinds of red clover. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method. 1 tbl
