FIELD: agriculture, in particular, plant selection for creation of parent material for red clover.

SUBSTANCE: method involves cultivating transformed morphogenetic clover crop on growing medium of Hamborg B5 into which kanamycin and cephotaxim are added, said morphogenetic crop being produced without formation of dedifferentiated tissue by cultivating of hypocotyls on growing medium of Hamborg B5 with 4.0 mg/l of 6-benzilaminopurine, 1.0 mg/l of kinetine and 0.05 mg/l of α-naphthyl acetic acid added into it; transplanting explants onto newly prepared medium of the same composition with 2.0 mg/l of 6-benzilaminopurine added into it; keeping epicotyl part of sprouts by cultivating on medium of Hamborg B5 free of hormones or by microreproduction on medium of the same composition into which 2 mg/l of 6-benzilaminopurine are added.

EFFECT: provision for direct regeneration of red clover allowing morphogenetic potential to be kept and valuable selective features of basic genotypes to be retained.
