FIELD: agriculture, in particular, plant selection for creation of parent material for red clover.

SUBSTANCE: method involves cultivating transformed morphogenetic clover crop on growing medium of Hamborg B₅ into which kanamycin and cephotaxim are added, said morphogenetic crop being produced without formation of dedifferentiated tissue by cultivating of hypocotyls on growing medium of Hamborg B₅ with 4.0 mg/l of 6-benzilaminopurine, 1.0 mg/l of kinetine and 0.05 mg/l of α-naphthyl acetic acid added into it; transplanting explants onto newly prepared medium of the same composition with 2.0 mg/l of 6-benzilaminopurine added into it; keeping epicotyl part of sprouts by cultivating on medium of Hamborg B₅ free of hormones or by microreproduction on medium of the same composition into which 2 mg/l of 6-benzilaminopurine are added.

EFFECT: provision for direct regeneration of red clover allowing morphogenetic potential to be kept and valuable selective features of basic genotypes to be retained.
