FIELD: cabbage storage in farms or country houses. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing fresh common head cabbage into trenches and filling trenches with warming material. Cabbage head is dug out from soil with stem and root, replanted in trenches, with its root end oriented downward, and watered. Prior to filling trench with warming material, boards are positioned above cabbage heads to form air space between cabbage heads and soil. EFFECT: prolonged storage time, reduced loss and improved quality of vegetable. 1 dwg
