FIELD: furniture production. SUBSTANCE: panel has planks and racks conjugated with their longitudinal edges. Connecting device has dovetail-shaped slots and ridges, as well as shoulder beveled toward ridge and slot facets. Shoulder bevel angle relative to sheet plane is 10-30 deg. Plank and rack connecting device may be formed as one-sided dovetail connector. Shoulders of conjugated parts may be inclined one toward the other at an angle of 1-3 deg. Ridges make an interference fit with slots. Racks may be made flat or angular, with two-sided slot. EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 7 cl, 4 dwg
