FIELD: medicine, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: peeled and milled velvet antlers were extracted with mixture of 50% aqueous-spirituous solution and acetic acid at stirring, at pH = 3.0-3.5 at ratio raw : mixture = 1:(10-12) for 8-10 hr followed by infusion for 14-16 hr and filtration. Obtained solution is heated at 60-70 C for 30 min, cooled, settled, filtered and purified on activated carbon, then food perfume is added and packaged into bottles. Obtained pantocrin decreases arterial pressure by 41-53%. EFFECT: simplified method, enhanced purity and hypotensive action.
