FIELD: medicine; rehabilitation of disabled patients. SUBSTANCE: mounted on end of boom is four-link articulated lever mechanism forming "irregular" parallelogram with two opposite short and two opposite long links. One short link connected to boom is 10% shorter than other short link. Hoist has balancing mechanism with compression spring to compensate for weight of patient, seat and four-link mechanism levers. Reduction gear has self- braking clutch which closes electric motor to frame if outer loading torque exceeds motor torque. Control is effected from electrically safe mechanical handle with cable drive to electric control unit. Control mechanism is blocked by safety belt by means of which patient is fastened on seat.
