FIELD: production of welding wire composition used in arc-type automatic welding under flux. SUBSTANCE: aim is to develop composition of steel for welding wire, usage of which provides decrease of microphases of MA type in area of subcritical temperatures during welding molten bath cooling, and correspondingly - to increase of critical size of crack in welding seam metal and as a result of it - to increase of welding structure service life. Steel has following components, mass %: carbon 0.01 - 0.10; manganese 0.50 - 2.0; silicon 0.10 - 0.50; chromium 0.01 - 0.40; nickel 0.30 - 1.50; copper 0.01- 0.35; molybdenum 0.30 - 1.50; cobalt 0.001 - 0.10; tungsten 0.001 - 0.10; iron - balance. EFFECT: developed composition for welding wire, that increases wearability of welded structure. 1 tbl
