FIELD: breech-loading mortars. SUBSTANCE: the mortar has a rifled barrel with a roller having a curvilinear groove engaged with the barrel made in the breech in parallel with the bore line, the breechblock is fastened on the back end of the roller, and the front end is connected to the rod attached to the breech. At a turn of the barrel to the position for loading the rod through the roller draws the breechblock out of the barrel and turns it due to the curvilinear groove on the roller engageable with the lug on the barrel. To provide for automatic bringing of the barrel to the position for loading, the axis of rotation is shifted relative to the barrel center of mass. At loading the barrel center of mass is shifted relative to the axis of rotation to the breech and lowers almost independently. For automatic unlocking of the barrel after a shot the breech accommodates a spring-loaded casing with a lug locking the barrel, spring-loaded latch, firing, trigger and unlocking mechanisms. The mortar mount is made in the form of a bipod; the carriage with the elevating mechanism fastened on it is moved on the carriage axle by the training gear; the ears of the elevating mechanism are enveloped by the shock-absorber body. Spades are fastened on the ends of the bipod axle. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 9 dwg
