FIELD: rocket manufacturing in the process of destruction of rockets and remaking rejected engines. SUBSTANCE: to reduce quantity of aqueous solution of ammonium perchlorate and enhance safety of the process of extraction of solid propellants containing ammonium perchlorate, extraction from rocket engine cases is accomplished with the use of aqueous solution where sodium hydroxide is introduced. Surface loose layers of propellant are subjected to mechanical destruction. EFFECT: facilitated procedure.
