FIELD: rocket engineering. SUBSTANCE: method of test of nozzle units lies in supply of air, in separation of it into two individual flows equal by flow rate which are directed into standard and tested nozzles. Before separation of flow water-solved liquid is atomized in it. Ratio of flow rate ml of liquid to flow rate ma of cold air is chosen given interval of values ml/ma= 0,003-0,002.. Method is realized in differential plant which has receiver 1 with units of separating nozzles 2 connected to working cylinders 5 to mount nozzle units 6 and to pipe-line 4 to supply cold air. Plant is fitted with tank 10 filled with liquid and centrifugal injectors 8 mounted on axis of receiver in zone of crossing of axes of pipe-line and cylinders directed towards cylinders and coupled with main line 9 to tank 10. Space 11 above liquid in tank communicates with pipe-line 4 which carries hydraulic resistor 14 installed between receiver 1 and section 13 of bleed-off air. EFFECT: increased precision of determination of draft and flow rate characteristics of nozzle units by diminished error in separation of flow rates. 2 cl, 2 dwg
