FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves examining in dynamic mode the vertical size of the blind spot when doing campimetric study before and after hypercorrection performed in series by positive spheric lenses from 1 to 3. The blind spot size being diminished by more than 1.5 cm, when compared with the initial value of the parameter, optic papilla congestion is diagnosed. No such dynamics being observed, visual nerve drusen are diagnosed. Ametropia taking place, it is corrected before carrying out campimetric study. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis. 2 cl
