FIELD: chemical industry, production of catalysts for dehydrogenation of alkylbenzenes to produce monomers, that are used in rubber and plastics production. SUBSTANCE: method of production of catalysts for dehydrogenation of based on iron oxide alkylbenzenes provides for mixing of iron oxide and promoting additions with water with following moulding and drying. As iron oxide and part of promoting additions they use waste catalyst, that is preliminary mixed with water in mass ratio of 1: 0.7 - 1.5 under temperature of 20 - 90 C, dewater mixture till humidity of 19 22 mas % and add lacking promoting additions till amounts, that good catalyst has. EFFECT: method allows to use waste catalysts, returning them back in production, and to save expensive raw material and to prevent pollution of environment. 1 tbl
