FIELD: production of emulsion rubber, particularly, production of butadiene-styrene rubber being modified by polar monomer; tire production and production of industrial rubber articles. SUBSTANCE: method involves aqueous-emulsion copolymerization of suitable monomers which takes place in the presence of additives and is followed by isolation of rubber. Alkyl methacrylate is used as polar monomer, alkaline soaps of tallow oil or mixture of alkaline soaps of resinous acids and fatty acids are used as emulsifying agent. Quantity of monomers during their copolymerization is as follows, mas. %: butadiene, 50-88; styrene or α-methyl styrene, 10-40; alkyl methacrylate, 2-10.
