FIELD: building industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves lime slaking with water where titanium tetrachloride is added (1-11.3 wt.-% of active lime content in paste) followed by removal of water excess by filtration. Method provides: paste adhesion to working surface is (4.2-11) x 10-2 and (3.6-9.55) x 10-2 MPa, respectively before and after freezing, paste whiteness is 86.68-88% and 83.2-86% before and after freezing, respectively. Paste can be used for decorative whitening. EFFECT: enhanced quality of paste. 1 tbl
