Abstract RU 2065044 C1

FIELD: coal bed excavation using flexible cutting members. SUBSTANCE: coal saw drive has a frame and hydraulic cylinders installed on it. The stems of hydraulic cylinders are connected to the saw through cables passing through stationary blocks. There is also ratchet mechanism provided. The ratchet mechanism has two ratchet wheels with pawls. One pawl of each pair is placed on rigid pull member of a barrel, and another is placed on its frame. Rigid pull members and ratchet wheels are installed in symmetry relative to lengthwise axis of the barrel. Blocks are installed on stems and cantilevers of the frame used to install the hydraulic cylinders. Rigid pull members are interconnected with axles. One of the axles is block axle. Another is common axle of pawls placed on rigid pull members. EFFECT: high reliability. 3 dwg
