FIELD: manufacture of pumps; handling fluid media. SUBSTANCE: vertical multiscrew pump has housing 1, holder unit 2 with drive and driven screws 15 and 22, casing 11 located around holder 6 forming suction chamber together with it and cover 13 shutting off delivery chamber. To facilitate disassembly of pump and withdrawal of worn parts without disconnecting the pump from hydraulic system, holder 6 is connected with cover 13 by means of bolted joint 21 due to which holder unit may be withdrawn together with this cover. Upper portion of holder 6 embraces delivery chamber. It is provided with passage 20 for communication of this chamber with outlet port 4 in housing 1. EFFECT: maintainability and facilitated manufacture of holder and cover. 1 dwg
