FIELD: thermal power engineering. SUBSTANCE: sprinkler of water-cooling towers is made in two variants. Sprinkler has matrix made of rows of vertically-mounted corrugated pipes. For both variants adjacent pipes are set up in height with shifting of crimps and with adjoining along equidistant surfaces of crimp profile. Their connection is made along all adjoining lines. According to the first variant, pipes having triangular cross-section in the range of one row and in adjacent rows are mounted symmetrically. Vertices of triangular profile are oriented in one direction and mounted with their vertices and foundations adjoining vertices. According to the second variant, pipes in the range of one row are set up with alternating orientation of triangular profile vertices and with adjoining by lateral sides of profile, in adjacent rows with adjoining by profile foundations and pipe shifting by one half of foundation.
