FIELD: water supply.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of recycled water supply, namely to the structural elements of cooling towers and other apparatus for heat and mass transfer between liquid and gaseous media. Block of the cooling tower sprinkler contains the vertically corrugated sheets with faceted corrugations, which are fastened together, where the latter ones when forming the corrugated sheets form the channels between each other, each channel being formed by the rectilinear input, output, bypass and intermediate sections, the axes of the input and output sections of each channel are located along the vertical line that is common for them, input, output and the bypass sections of the channels in the cross section are made in the shape of a hexagon, the intermediate sections adjacent to the inlet and outlet sections are inclined, they form the angle from 40 up to 60° with the above-mentioned common vertical line and are communicated to each other by two vertical diamond-shaped cross-sectional intermediate sections, which are communicated to each other and to the inclined intermediate sections by means of vertical bypass sections, wherein the inclined intermediate sections of the adjacent vertical corrugated sheets are formed with the opposite inclination to the vertical line in order to form triangular cross sections of intermediate sections communicating with each other at the intersection thereof, the edges of the corrugations forming intermediate sections are made with transverse corrugations, and the edges of the corrugations forming a cross section in the shape of a hexagon are made flat, while on the faces of the corrugations of the input, output and bypass sections of adjacent vertical corrugated sheets hollow convexes and depressions are made, by means of which one vertical corrugated sheet is inserted into each other in the depressions of an adjacent vertical corrugated sheet, and the vertical corrugated sheets are thus fixed relative to each other.
EFFECT: as a result, an increase in the intensity of heat and mass transfer is achieved with an increase in the reliability of the cooling tower.
