FIELD: biology. SUBSTANCE: method includes irradiation of biological medium with different frequencies of SHF range and simultaneous optical irradiation in direction different from propagation of SHF radiation, registration of changes of intensity of optical radiation passed through biological medium as response of biological medium to SHF radiation. Novelty of method consists in irradiation of biological medium with beam of optical radiation with width of beam exceeding length of standing wave in biological medium is excited by SHF irradiation, in integration of optical radiation passed through biological medium in direction of propagation of beam, in registration of intensity of integrated radiation with smooth change of SHF excitation frequency within specified range, in registration of intensity of integrated radiation on fixed biologically active frequency with change of power of SHF radiation. Device for realization of method has SHF and optical generators 1, 8, dish 5, waveguide cell 2, short-circuit 6, synchronizer 14, photodetector 9, registering instrument 11. Condenser lens provides for required width of integrated beam passed through dish 5 in direction of propagation of beam. EFFECT: increased efficiency of medical diagnosis. 4 cl, 1 dwg
