FIELD: spectral instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: illuminator has objective connected optically with spherical mirror, irradiator disposed between objective and mirror, and diaphragm connected with irradiator through objective. Diaphragm has to be matched with irradiator when centering irradiator and objective at optical axis of spherical mirror. Axis passes through center of spherical mirror and center of its curvature. Center of curvature of spherical mirror is disposed between spherical mirror and radiator if radius of curvature of spherical mirror is made taking into account 0.8 relation from distance between spherical mirror and radiator, or if center of curvature of spherical mirror is disposed between irradiator and objective, when radius of curvature of spherical mirror is made in such a manner that distance between spherical mirror and radiation relates as 1.15.
