FIELD: nuclear engineering. SUBSTANCE: cooling panel of reactor primary wall is built up of two parallel plates installed in a spaced relation and interconnected through sealed joint over perimeter. Cooling panel plate contacting heat-conducting spacer is provided with longitudinal ducts and transverse holes for their communication with cavity formed by plates and their joining members. Surface of this plate facing the gap is coated with metal layer of capillary structure. Ducts communicate with coolant circulating system. The latter incorporates heating loop formed by steam generator and circulating pump arranged in tandem and cooling loop that has heat exchanger, condenser, and feedwater pump installed in tandem. Ducts communicate at inlet with circulating pump and feedwater pump and at outlet, with heat exchanger which also communicates with space in upper part of cavity through condenser. Heat-conducting spacer is made of low-melting alloy. Coolant pressure in cooling loop is reduced to 1.5-2 MPa. EFFECT: improved reliability of heat transfer under continuous variable heat loads, temperature stabilization over entire section irrespective of heat load which reduced strain stresses in operation; simplified and less expensive process; reduced time for shield replacement. 3 cl, 2 dwg
