FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: blanket has primary wall sectionalized by means of parallel slots to organize its cooling channels in each section; it also has steel base joined to primary wall by diffusion welding; slot depth is chosen to equal minimum three fourths of primary wall thickness; slot base is covered with material whose mechanical strength is higher than that of bronze. Slot base is cylindrical in shape and can receive steel tube. Primary wall is easy to manufacture. Provision is made to compensate for cyclic loads at great number of cycles to failure. EFFECT: increased service life and economic efficiency of blanket. 4 cl, 1 dwg
