FIELD: fusion engineering. SUBSTANCE: limiter-port has can 1 and fuel elements 2. Fuel elements are secured on can and are made in the form of capsules with built-in cooling channels. Butt-end surfaces of capsules form first wall covered with beryllium coat 3. Working ends of capsules are disposed beyond can and are directed towards plasma. Opposite ends of capsules are joined with thermal actuators 4 fastened on can. Power flows above critical level occurring in proposed limiter-port are absorbed and converted into force moving fuel elements from charged core. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of limiter and reactor as a whole. 4 cl, 3 dwg
