SUBSTANCE: in order to enhance efficiency of separation of emulsions and increase dehydration degree, and also to simplify design of apparatuses operating under high loadings, coalescence arrangement is made as a battery of sections composed of hydrophobic and liophylic honeycomb nickel plates arranged in layers according to increase in density of pores and cells in material in the direction of flow and at an angle to horizontal axis of apparatus not below than angle of liquid draining.
