FIELD: separation of immiscible liquids, emulsified hydrocarbon media in particular in wide range of water encroachment; deep dehydration of crude and slop oil, gas condensate, light petroleum products, liquefied hydrocarbon gases and other viscous hydrocarbon media. SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes horizontal cylindrical housing where moisture separating stack of oleophilic and hydrophilic elastic porous cellular polymer materials is arranged; polymer material is laid in transversal layers at angle not lesser than angle of draining of liquid to moving flow with moisture-separating stack located above interface. Stack contains additionally porous cellular materials with modified surface for enhancing coalescence properties or it consists only of materials with such surface. Moisture-separating stack supported by blind partition covers working section along apparatus. Lower part of stack is mounted at angle of draining of liquid to vertical axis of blind partition.
