FIELD: instrumentation engineering, electrovacuum production, production of hollow pieces made of refractory metals with stratified nonrecrystallized structure. SUBSTANCE: hot ductility of used metal is determined in temperatures interval of 20 - 1000 C with step of 100 C. Samples are produced with variable operational part cross-section. They ate tested for tensile strength till breaking in argon medium. Relative lengthening is determined and according to ratio of relative lengthening and test temperature plot is constructed. According to the plot temperature, that corresponds to peak of ductility increase, is found. EFFECT: increased limit of metal hot ductility reserve before drawing. 1 dwg
