FIELD: testing parts made of sheets of refractory metals used in vacuum tube production.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making set of sheets; selectively controlling technological properties of sheets according to samples; making micro-sections on samples along their whole thickness; evaluating microstructure; on samples with trend for stratification making micro-sections directed crosswise and lengthwise relative to rolling process direction; detecting degree of stratification of microstructure by etching samples; evaluating stratification value according to waviness degree in points; comparing evaluated value with trend value for stratification; setting reference patterns of waviness degree in points and testing manufactured lots of refractory metal sheets according to microstructure of samples with use of reference waviness degree in points.
EFFECT: possibility for predicting capability for forming sheets and for optimizing modes of rolling sheets in such a way that to lower their trend for stratification.
