RADIAL RIVETER Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: metals shaping, shaping by press rolling by radial riveters in particular. SUBSTANCE: radial riveter has body, in which drive and beading head are mounted. To lubricate beading head there is system, that has tank for lubricating medium located beyond limits of radial riveter body, and feeding and removing pipelines. Beading head has spindle, tail spindle with located in it hollow shaft, eccentrically mounted in the shaft cavity central shaft - gear, main and additional spherical supports, sealing support and lid. Spring-loaded spherical holder of tool through eccentric drive is linked with central shaft-gear. Additional and sealing spheres have holes for holder of tool and are in contact to each other by spherical surface. Spherical surfaces of all three supports are made concentric. Lid is made with hole shifted in respect to edge of hole for tool holder in additional support from side of its spherical surface in direction to the center of the latter.
