Abstract RU 2065834 C1

FIELD: production of cutting tool. SUBSTANCE: mixture which contains graphite (its quantity being 85.0-99.4 mass %) or mixture of graphite with diamond, boron (its quantity being 0.1-10.0 mass %) and solution of material being affected by graphitization by roasting (its quantity being 0.5-5.0 mass % as calculated for carbon) is stirred, dried and granulated. Then pressing followed by roasting in vacuum at residual pressure 10-4-10-6 mm Hg and at 600-1500 C is carried out. The process is followed by treatment at 70-130 kbar and at 2000-2500 C. Mesh of graphite powder is 0.05-10.0 μm, content of water in origin mixture is 0.001-0.150 mass %, ash content of binder is 0.001-0.100 mass %, mesh of diamond powder is 300-2000 μm.
