FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of complex-profile oil pool. On oil pool area, a section confined with depth-bed deflection and lithologic substitution in non-reservoir is chosen. Within this section, productive wells are placed and operated in normal mode. Along depth-bed deflection, injection wells are placed and additional productive wells are drilled according to compact pattern. Oil pool is developed under conditions of maintaining formation pressure. When 60-70% of extractable reserves of productive wells in chosen section are taken, the watered wells are turned into injection ones and displacement fronts along the zones of lithologic substitution in non-reservoir are formed.
