FIELD: solar-to-electric energy conversion. SUBSTANCE: solar cells 2 assembled in panels 1 through layer of transparent material 16 are joined to plates 3 made of transparent material. Longitudinal slots of sections 4-9, 17 accommodate peripheral portions of plates 3 free from solar cells. Plates 3 are arranged in rows. Sections 4-9 are common for plate rows; slots are made on opposite sides of common section. Sections 17 located between adjacent plates of row are common for each pair of adjacent plates. EFFECT: provision for generating electric power of tens of watts and higher; reduced weight of module. 3 cl, 2 dwg
