FIELD: medical equipment; can be used in postsurgical therapy both in ambulant and clinical conditions, as well as in prophylaxis of gastrointestinal disturbances. SUBSTANCE: electrostimulator comprises capsule 1 which accommodates series-connected environment condition monitoring unit 5, signal level analyzer 6, microprocessor 7 and pulse shaper 8 connected to power supply 3. Electrodes 4 are made on the external surface of capsule 1, the total number of electrodes is 2+n, where n=2, 3, 4 ... and is determined by the degree of medical effect and technological potentiality of manufacture of electrodes which are connected to the outputs of unit 8 and inputs of environmental condition monitoring unit 5. The stimulator generates stimulating pulses with parameters optimized for each branch of the gastroenteric tract and produces a scanning effect on its muscular tissues; unit 8 produces electrostimulating pairs from electrodes 4 of opposite polarities whose field strength directions are orthogonal.
