FIELD: medical technique, possibly clinical therapy of different diseases. SUBSTANCE: electric stimulator of gastrointestinal tract includes housing 1 in the form of electrically insulated electrodes 2,3 mutually joined by means of insulation sleeve 6. Power source 5, microcontroller 4, pickups 7 are arranged in housing 1. Pickups 7 may receive signals of inner organs and(or) signals of outer transmitter. Output terminals of pickups 7 are connected with inputs of microcontroller 4 whose outputs are connected with electrodes. Electric stimulator may include transmitter 8 for transmitting signals of those pickup 7 whose output signals are supplied to outer receiver. Microcontroller 4 may apply pulse series according to algorithm set by means of software or hardware to electrodes 2,3, interrupt pulse applying or it may change parameters of pulses by signals fed from inner organs or by commands of outer transmitter. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of therapy due to possibility of disconnecting electric stimulator or changing its parameters according to pickup signals. 2 cl, 4 dwg
