FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electrolyzers used for decomposition of chemical substances with formation of gas phase, in particular for decomposition of water. Electrolyzer and its common ducts for working media are inclined at acute angle to horizontal line. Unions of common gas ducts are located in their upper points and union of common electrolyte duct is positioned on one or the other side of this duct depending on operational conditions. EFFECT: electrolyzer can be used specifically for decomposition of water to produce oxygen and hydrogen. 3 dwg
