FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling and blasting, and separate loading of rock bulk at lower horizons into dump trucks of small load capacity, carrying the rock bulk to the higher horizon and reloading by excavator to dump trucks of large load capacity (diesel-trolley cars, trolley cars) for removing from the open cut. Ore and overburden rock from lower horizons are carried to higher horizons to buttocks of appropriate ore and barren rock blocks and are shipped by excavator of higher capacity to large load capacity dump trucks. The blocks for reloading are chosen so as to provide open routes for dump truck at lower horizons. EFFECT: decreased scope of overburden rocks within open cut boundaries, increased final depth of the open cut, finishing lower horizons of the open cut, increased efficiency in utilizing dump trucks of small, medium and large load capacity. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
